1. Organizing the Ceremony of Awarding Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam in 2010
On January 15 2011 at the Independence Palace in Hochiminh City, Vietnam Report Jsc jointly with VietnamNet Newspaper successfully organized the Ceremony of Awarding Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam in 2010 (VNR500) and the VNR500 Forum. This is the fourth time the Ranking Board of Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam has been announced to objectively honoring and recognizing the achievements that enterprises managed to accomplish. At the ceremony, Prof. Stephen M. Walt from Harvard University, USA – the world leading expert in lobbying relations lecture, and Mr. Alex Malley, global chief executive officer of CPA Australia presented, on “Large enterprises and leadership” and ” Enterprises and lobbying activities” respectively. More than 400 participants in the Ceremony and Forum included VNR500 enterprises’ leaders, Vietnam’s leading experts, scholars, and media agencies.
2. Publishing the Real Estate Report No.3
The Real Estate Report No.3 continued to be finished in Quarter 1 2011 on the subject “Housing demands and the determinants of borrowing decisions by Hanoi residents. Housing market trends in 2011″. The report focuses on the real housing demand as well as the determinants of decision whether to borrow from banks to buy house of selected people in Hanoi, besides figuring out several trends in the real estate market in the coming time in order for policy makers and investors to have a general view on the market.
3. Publishing VNR Quarterly Report No.11 for quarter 1 2011
VNR Quarterly Report for quarter 1 2011 on “Growth strategy in uncertain times” is the collection of articles by scholars, economic experts, and VNR research team on enterprises’ growth strategy in the challenging times of the world and Vietnam economy. The selection of growth strategy depends largely on business context and enterprise capability. In fact, not just small sized enterprises can grow fast but many large enterprises achieve average growth rate of 35-40% per year. What helps large enterprises still grow and expand scale? What factors make sustainable growth capability for business? What are solutions for branding in fast growing enterprises? Those matters are analyzed in the report.
4. Continuing to promote and introduce information and articles about member companies through our communication channels, VietnamNet Newspaper and the websites of Programs
Introducing member companies’ information is part of the brand promotion for member companies. Accordingly, the Organizing Board will receive and compile papers introducing the business, conduct interviews with business leaders about successes, difficulties and concerns in business, corporate culture and corporate development philosophy. These articles are frequently updated on our communication channel, VietnamNet Newspaper and the websites of Programs
